During Fall, you can taste and buy our Farnum Hill Extra Dry Cider (the 750ml bottle), the Farnum Hill Farmhouse (in 12-oz cans).
You can alsotaste small batches for "Dooryard" growlers every day we're open. (Growlers are reusable half-gallon containers very common in the craft beer world. You don't have to buy our new glass growlers, bring your own half-gallon containers if you're interested.)
NOTE -- Thursdays are special because your growler refills are $10, which is $2 off the regular price of $12.

ALL our fermented ciders are dry or barely off-dry, NOT sweet at all.

Here's how we describe the XD in our salesy language

"This madly fruity, totally dry cider unfurls complex citrus, tropical, herbal and mineral notes framed by a fine acid-bitter balance and refreshing astringency, through a long, food-friendly finish.  Don't search for fresh-apple flavors in these ciders any more than you'd search for fresh-grape flavors in good wines... the juices have been transformed! Pour at red-wine temps -- 55-65F -- if you want the whole sensory show. Alcohol 7.5%"

And here's promo lingo on the Farmhouse -- (it's all true):

"Our most casual cider. Barely off-dry but just. not. sweet. Pale gold, bubbly, with hints of sweetness amid tart, bitter, and fruity elements: citrus, pineapple, bittersweet apple, and whiffs of good earthy funk.
It has a clean, appetizing finish that is super-friendly to food.
Alcohol 6.50%"

Our ciders have all this enjoyable complexity because we grow cider apple varieties, which make superior cider for the same reasons that wine grapes make superior wine. But -- most of them taste very odd if you try to eat them! Though there are some fabulous "crossover" varieties that do it all: taste great, cook great, and ferment great. See our back labels for a list of apple varieties that contribute their character to Farnum Hill Ciders.

We fill growlers from small batches of Farnum Hill ciders we call "Dooryard" batches -- because they're only available here in our dooryard. These days. the only still -- non-bubbly -- ciders we offer are Dooryard (growler) batches.) They're fun to taste, if you end up choosing Extra Dry or Farmhouse.

Of course Farnum Hill bottles (Extra Dry), cans ("Farmhouse")  are also here for tasting and sale. Delicious for any occasion, great with food. Farnum Hill dry, complex ciders make prime gifts for people with wide-awake taste buds -- also they're less alcoholic than wine at 6.5-7.5% ABV!

They're also available in NH liquor stores & Co-op Food Stores.
Our Extra Dry Still bottles can also be found at an extremely good price in local Price Choppers and Hannafords.  We've raised our wholesale price to them more than once, but they haven't raised their retail price...
